7.6. Artificial Light
Artificial light refers to the electric lights inside your enclosure. This controller will turn
them on, and off at the times you specify. The controller supports up to six light
cycles.(A light cycle being a time to turn lights on, and a time to turn lights off.) The
controller will first ask for “Number of cycles”, you should enter a number from zero to
six. Next the controller will prompt you for "Start Cycle" (The time for lights to be
turned on) and "End Cycle" (The time for lights to be turned off) for each of the cycles
you specified. When you have entered start times, and stop times, for each cycle, the
controller will show "Artificial Light Relay #8" This reminds you that stage eight on
this controller is the stage operated by the artificial light feature.
7.7. OSC High
This feature will automatically align the house for Tunnel Ventilation. When outside
temperature reaches the setpoint the controller will shut the main curtain and send a
signal for the tunnel curtain to open. Then will engage all fans on the stages designated
"Cool Negative Tunnel" When selecting this feature the controller will ask for "OSC
High Limit" -- The setpoint for entering tunnel mode, "OSC Differential" -- The amount
in degrees below the setpoint when the machine will exit tunnel mode, and "OSC
Signal" -- if "yes" is selected the controller will show you which stage will send the
signal to the device controlling the tunnel curtain.
7.8. Fans Neg to Stir
This feature allows any fans which are on a "Cool Negative" stage to operate as stir fans
when the curtains are opened. If you wish for this to occur, select "yes" using the
Change Setting arrow keys.
