Removing and Installing the Top Cover
Maintenance and troubleshooting proce-
dures require you to remove the top cover
to access internal printer components.
To remove the top cover, simply lift up the
front edge, as shown in figure 5-1.
To re-install the top cover, perform the
following procedure:
1. Position the platen window between
the back edge of the top cover and the
window support tabs, as shown in fig-
ure 5-2.
2. Press down on the top cover until the
clips snap onto the mounting tabs.
3. Lower the top cover back into place.
