3.1.2. Performing an Insulation Resistance Test
The insulation resistance test measures the insulation resistance at selected voltages. Since the
insulation resistance is continuously monitored during each test, users can plot the resistance
or current values versus time. Use the steps below to perform an insulation resistance test:
a. Start from the “START-UP” menu:

key (RUN TEST).
NOTE
If you had previously performed a test and had not saved the test results, the
following screen will be displayed:
Press the
[ENTER]
key if you do not want to save the results from the
previous test. Continue to step b.
Press any other key if you would like to save the results from the previous test.
You will be returned to the “START-UP” menu. Please see section 3.2.1 for
instructions on how to save test results to the IRM-5000P’s Flash EEPROM.
b. The following screen will be displayed:
