3.1.17. Configuring the Digital Rotary Transducer Settings

A rotary transducer requires the user to enter the defined linear distance in millimeters or
inches per one degree of rotary motion. Follow the steps below to configure the settings for a
digital rotary transducer:

a. Start from the “START-UP” menu:

Press the

key (SETUP).

b. The following screen will be displayed:

Press the

[2]

key (MEASUREMENT UNITS).

c. The following screen will be displayed:

Press the

[3]

key (ROTARY ENCODER).

d. The following screen will be displayed:

1. ENGLISH (In./deg)

Press the

[1]

key to enter the rotary encoder linear distance per degree using

English units. The following screen will be displayed:

INCHES/DEGREE
