CHAPTER 3 Operating LOADTRONIC 3
3.1 Start –Normal Operation
LOADTRONIC 3 starts up as the machine’s ignition key is set in position 1
(running position) and the power switch at the rear of the main unit is
switched ON/1. After a few seconds a start up window is shown in the
display; next the system enters automatic weighing mode.
LOADTRONIC 3 is now ready for automatic weighing, refer chapter 3.2.
The currently active job record is shown in the lower part of the display; if
all records have been cleared (no active record) job record 0 ‘Unspecified
Recording’ is displayed.
Note:
If the instrument is directly connected to the machine battery (optional,
refer the LOADTRONIC 3 Installation Guide), the activation time is less
than 1 seconds if the engine is stalled; normally activation time is
approximately 10 seconds. The direct connection to the battery will also
provide power to the thermostat controlled heating element (optional) for
operations in very cold locations.
If the machine has been idle for more than two hours, LOADTRONIC 3
will block weighing, and request the operator to carry out a manual
zeropoint adjustment, refer chapter 3.6.
3.2 Automatic Weighing
Normally the LOADTRONIC 3 is in the mode for automatic weighing.
Automatic weighing means that the operator can operate as usual; during
normal operation the weighing sequence is activated automatically when the
wheel loader is reversed out from the material heap after filling the bucket.
Refer Figure 3-1 for an illustration.
The weighing begins as soon as the lifting arms have moved within the
weighing range, providing that other sensor signals are acceptable.
