Scanning tags
If your phone has the ability to scan NFC tags, you can scan a tag any time your phone
is turned on, and you have NFC turned on in Settings (see “Wireless & networks” on
page 355).
Scan a tag
1
Unlock your phone’s screen and place your phone right next to the tag.
Your phone scans the tag and displays the contents it collected.
2
Touch one of the tag’s content to open it (and save the tag on your phone). Or
touch
Done or Delete to save or delete the tag and return to the last screen you
were working in.
If you touch one of the tag’s contents, it opens in an application designed to work
with it, such as Gallery, Browser, Maps, Messenging, and so on.
Touch
Done to save the tag and return
to your previous screen. Or touch
Delete.
Touch the content of the tag to open it.
