Configuring Port Parameters
This menu allows you to manually configure each of the
IntraSwitch 5212’s ports for speed, connection, link mode, and
auto-negotiation.
The default parameters for each 10Base-T port are:
❏ auto-negotiation — disabled
❏ port speed — 10Mbps
❏ link mode — half duplex
The default parameter for the 10/100TX port and an installed
10/100TX or 100Base-FX Asanté MII expansion port is:
❏ auto-negotiation — enabled (auto-negotiates to
10 or 100Mbps half duplex)
To access the Port Parameter Menu, type p from the
Configuration Menu. The following menu appears.
