• Make the cables long enough to allow the MLM-WB’s door to fully open once the

MLC is installed in the door.

• For connections to control modules that are installed in the MLM-WB’s door, cut

the wires just long enough to reach from the MLC to the control modules,
connect one end to the appropriate pins on the MLC, and connect the other to
a captive screw connector.

• To wire the relays for use with a relay control module (RCM), refer to the

installation chapter of the Relay Control Modules User’s Manual.

Replacing MLC faceplates and labels, and
mounting the MLC in the door

The backlit input selection labels are inaccessible once the MLC is installed into the
MLM-WB, so label changes or additions should be made prior to installation.

Use a small Philips screwdriver
to remove the four faceplate
attachment screws marked

in the picture at right, and keep
them for later use.

Do not remove these screws
while the MLC is installed
in a wall or furniture, or
the controller may fall down
into the wall/furniture or wall box.

Lift the faceplate off the MLC.

3.

Lift off the transparent, protective, plastic window that covers the labels.

Lift off the transparent, rectangular label you want to replace, being careful
not to damage the circuits beneath it. You may need to use a small, flat
bladed screwdriver to gently pry the label out.
