3. Use a Phillips Head screw driver to set the shelf address rotary switch to indicate a shelf
ID. For most applications the only switch requiring adjustment will be on the far right
labeled ‘Units.’ Start with shelf 1 at the bottom and progress to higher numbers as one
goes up the frame. This figure shows settings for shelf 1 and shelf 6 as examples.

4. If local contact closures are also desired continue with Attach Alarm Wiring, otherwise
reinstall alarm card and close door.
5. Attach signal wiring between the Alarm Cards of adjacent Converter Shelves.
