FRONT LOWERING KIT INSTALLATION ROYAL
STAR/V-STAR 650/1100
Read all instructions before installing these products!
Revision: 1.1 - 04/07/2010
INCLUDED IN THE KIT:
(2) Machined Aluminum Spacers
INSTRUCTIONS:
The use of these products will lower your motorcycle approximately 1.5-inches. The lowering of either frontend,
back-end or both causes the motorcycles chassis, footboards, exhaust and other products bolted to any portion
of the bike to now be approximately 1.5-inches closer to the ground.
When turning at both low or high speeds, these items can come in contact with the ground. This contact, should
it happen, can cause you some/all loss of control or may cause damage to the item.
We strongly CAUTION the rider of a motorcycle that has any combination of the lowering products installed to
be aware of the reduction they will cause in the maneuvering of the bike or the damage that could be caused to
any of the items referred to above. Baron Custom Accessories accepts no liability for any damages stemming
from the use of these products. We do not recommend a lowered motorcycle be ridden with a passenger!
Installation:
(A) Remove and disassemble front forks.
(B) Slide the machined spacer onto the forks damping rod in front of the small, stock top-out spring. Once the
spacer is in place, slide the stock top-out spring onto the damping rod. To achieve proper spring preload, you
must cut 1.5-inches from the stock preload spacer. Reassemble the fork, fill with oil and install the fork back
onto the bike. Repeat this process on the other fork.
Our install guides provide a basic outline on the proper installation of our products. Further tuning and/or
fitment may be required. Barons bears no responsibility on installation costs associated with this product.
