NOTE: This tool allows you to drain the oil out of the oil tank

without the oil running all over the cross-over plate on the

bottom of the frame.

PROCEDURE:

1. Place the motorcycle in a secure upright position. We

suggest using a lift on the frame that allows the engine oil

drain plug to be exposed.

2. Using the 5/8” socket

and ratchet, loosen the

drain plug on the bottom

of the oil pan.

3. Insert the adapter

through the hole in the

crossover plate and

locate it over the

drain plug.

4. Rotate the adapter

counter-clockwise (to the

left) to engage the lug on

the side of the adapter

with the lip on the cutout

in the crossover plate.

5. Confirm that you have an

even seal around the top

of the adapter and the

oil pan.

6. Remove the drain plug

with the ¼” hex bit and

ratchet with extension.

7. Allow the oil to drain

through the center of

the adapter and into the

drain pan.

8. Allow all oil to drain out of the oil pan.

9. Re-insert the drain plug and tighten finger tight.

10. Remove the oil drain adapter.

11. Tighten the drain plug to 14-21 ft-lbs.

12. Install the proper amount of oil in the oil tank.

WARNING!:

Before operating motorcycle, be sure all hardware

is tight.
