(4) Stainless Socket Set Screw
(4) 5/16" Stainless Shims
(2) Black Powder Coated Baron Floorboard Mounts
(10) Chrome Caps
(4) M8 Stainless Cap Head Bolts
(4) 5/16" x1" Stainless Shoulder Bolts
(2) Chrome Baron Shortboards (solid or enferno)
TOOLS REQUIRED:
Pliers (std. and needle nose)
6mm Allen Wrench
HD Shop Manual
Phillips and Flat Screwdrivers
3/32" & 5/32" Allen Wrenches
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Lift the rubber on the stock passenger board and using a punch or small Phillips screwdriver, push the pins
out that hold the board to the mount. Be careful not to lose the ball bearing & spring.
2. Remove stock passenger floorboard mount.
3. Follow instructions included with the Baron Comfort Kit. These are required when using the Baron
Shortboards.
4. Using the M8 Stainless Cap Head Bolts, install the Baron Floorboard Mount onto the bottom of the board in
the desired position (this position can be adjusted later if its not to your liking).
5. Once you are sure of the position, insert the Stainless socket set screw into each of the threaded holes.
6. Insert the spring into the hole on the factory floorboard mount. Replace the ball bearing on top of this spring
making sure you do not lose it.
7. Insert the Baron Shortboard and Mount into the stock floorboard mount location. Secure with 5/16" x 1"
Stainless shoulder bolts and blue Loctite. Make sure to use the stainless shims between the head of the bolt and
the mount.
8. Make any adjustments to the board location.
9. Once the location is satisfactory, go over all bolts, making sure you tightened them to factory specifications.
