Exhaust Tips
Baron Custom Accessories, Inc. bears no responsibility for Family Jewel Tips
or baffles that come loose, fall out of the pipes and are lost or damaged.
Properly installed and maintained they will not come loose. You must tighten
mounting screws properly, per our installation suggestions. You are advised to
recheck these screws to be sure they are tight so they will continue to retain
your tips. Baron Custom Accessories will not replace lost or damaged Family
Jewels or baffles.

INSTRUCTIONS:
Exhaust Tips will work with exhaust systems of 2-1/4" OD and with an ID of 2.06" ~ 2.16", and having at least 1"
clear end space on the ID of the pipe for tip insertion.
Note: We recommend the use of high temp Loctite® on all fasteners and mounting hardware.
For Installation on Nasty Exhaust Pipes:
Nasty Habit, Too Nasty and Nasty 4-2-4 pipes all come pre-drilled for installation of Family Jewels.
On the 4-2-4 pipes, simply slip the tip in and secure in the position you desire with supplied hardware.
On Nasty Habit and Too Nasty pipes, use supplied shim to provide a tight fit of the tip.
Decide on the orientation of the tip and arrange the shim so that the gap in the shim will expose the correct
hole for that position of the tip.
Secure the tip with supplied hardware.
For Installation with Other Pipe Manufacturers (Bolt-Through Method):
Pipes such as Vance and Hines Longshots (and other, similar 2-1/4" exhaust systems) need to have a hole
drilled to secure the tip. Use the supplied shim to make a tight fit on these pipes.
Draw a straight line along the tip going through the hole you wish to use to fasten the tip (use a Sharpie
type marker). Choose a hole in the tip so that when tip is mounted to desired position, mounting screw will be
in the least visible location, such as in back lower side of pipe.
Insert tips and rotate to desired position. Extend previously-marked line onto pipe approximately 3".
Remove tip.
Measure distance from center of hole in tip that you will be using, to the raised lip of tip. Transfer that
distance onto line you extended onto pipe (should be .50"~.55").
Drill 1/4" hole in pipe at that position.
Insert tip and secure with supplied button head screw, nut and washers.
Our install guides provide a basic outline on the proper installation of our products. Further tuning and/or
fitment may be required. LA Choppers bears no responsibility on installation costs associated with this product.
