INSTRUCTIONS:
Thank you for purchasing the Baron Shorty Kickstand for your new Roadliner or Stratoliner. Installation is
reasonably simple providing you follow the instructions below implicitly. As always, please read the instructions
in full prior to installing the product. If you feel you dont understand it, please call our tech support line, or
have the product installed by a competent technician. We strongly suggest the use of blue Loctite for best
results and longevity.
1. Place the vehicle on a motorcycle lift to hold the bike upright (You can have an assistant sit on the bike and
hold it steady if you do not have a lift available).
2. Flip the kickstand to the "up" position. (The next step will go smoother if the kickstand is up)
3. Using a flatblade screwdriver, pry the spring off from the frame mount side (not the kickstand side).
4. Using a 17mm wrench, remove the nut on top of the kickstand mount.
5. Using a 14mm wrench, remove the bolt that holds the stock kickstand in the mount.
6. Reverse the procedure to get the new kickstand on, leaving the spring for last.
7. Enjoy your new Baron Shorty Kickstand.
