INSTRUCTIONS:

NOTE: For an easier install we recommend two people perform this installation.

1. Remove the 14mm floorboard mounting bolts from the left and right rider floorboards and let them hang.

2. On the right side lower frame rail remove the two M5 allen bolts from the rear master cylinder mount.

3. Place the metal spacers between the frame rail and the rear master cylinder mount, then using the new
M8-1.25 x 20 Socket head cap bolts attach them back to the frame and snug up the new bolts, but do not
tighten.

4. Insert the Engine Guard and align the mount holes of the lower brackets against the frame with the
floorboard mounting holes. Lift and align the floorboard mounts with the brackets and frame. Insert the stock
mounting bolts and thread them in and snug up the new bolts, but do not tighten at this time.

5. Push the Engine Guard's upper tube tight against the frame and insert a new chrome washer on each of the
5/16-18 x 2.50" chrome hex bolts, insert the bolts through the reinforced mount tubes into the holes in the
frame. Place another chrome washer on the bolt and thread the 5/16-18 nylock nut and snug.

6. Align the Engine Guard to center it on the down tubes and then tighten the upper bolts/nuts fully.

7. Tighten the 14mm mounting bolts on the left and right floorboard mount fully.

RECOMMEND: Re-tighten all hardware after riding 100 miles.
