(1) 3/8" Nylon Nipple/Fitting Pre-installed
TOOLS REQUIRED:
3, 4 & 5 mm Allen Wrenches
10mm Open-end Wrench
Pliers (Std. & Needle-nose)
10 & 12mm Sockets
Phillips & Flat Screwdrivers

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Remove fuel tank per Kawasaki service manual instructions. Note vent and drain hoses for later
reconnection.
2. Remove the round chrome air filter cover/s from the left and right side of the engine.
3. Remove left backing plate and mounting bracket.
4. Remove right side backing plate and ISC Valves (the valves will not be reinstalled).
*Remove hoses from the two valves where they come into the backing plate. (A on Fig. 1)
*Remove screws holding backing plate to the cross-over tube. (D on Fig. 1)
*Remove remaining screws and pull backing plate from throttle body, pushing the hose out as you go.
*Remove crankcase vent from rear of the backing plate. (D on Fig 2)
*Disconnect electrical connection to the valves. (B on Fig 1 and C on Fig 2)
*Remove Inlet Air Temperature Sensor from backing plate. (B on Fig 2)
