6. Stiffener Details

Top Stiffener Starting Location
Refer to Figure 6C , for proper location of top stiffeners. On the overlap of the stiffeners and on the splice,
use 3/8" x 1" hex bolts, a washer on the nut side connection. Refer to the stiffener layout, See Figure 6A
on Page 28 for stiffener usage.
All stiffeners are outside the bin wall. Use 5/16" x 3/4" grade 5 bin bolts with head and neoprene washer
to the inside of the bin wall. Refer to proper
Chart and illustrations on Page 28 for proper location of
stiffeners and sidewall sheets.
