In IPDirector version 5.6, when a ‘send to’ operation is performed on a clip, the XT
clip has priority on the file for the transfers. However, it is possible to send
another clip element by right-clicking the line corresponding to the selected
element in the grid from the Clip Element branch or the Clip branch with expanded
clip view.

To flag a clip to be sent to the default archive, proceed as follows:

1.

Right-click the clip line or XT clip line corresponding to the clip you want to
send to the default archive.

The clip contextual menu is displayed.

2.

Select Send To > Default Archive from the clip contextual menu.

The clip is flagged to be sent to the session folder of the XFile defined as the
default XFile on the XT[2] server where the XT clip is physically stored.
Refer to the XFile user manual for more information on how to define the session
folder.
