Clip and Record Train Compatibility on XT3 Servers
•
Clips are compatible across all Multicam configurations including Super LSM.
•
Record trains are also compatible as long as the number of record channels (cameras)
is not increased in LSM mode.
Example
◦
SuperLSM ® 2CAM (Fx): Record trains are lost.
◦
4CAM (Fx) ® 3CAM (Cut): Record trains are kept.
•
Record trains are always kept in Spotbox mode (all modes except LSM), even when
the number of record trains is increased.

SD/HD Base Configurations
Introduction
The tables below show the available SD/HD configurations with an XT3 4U server and
XT3 6U server, and how the BNC connectors should be cabled.
The
2R/CM
1
configurations, presented after the 'standard' ones, make use of the
secondary link of the codec module of a record channel as an independent recorder. See
section "Channel Assignment in 2R/CM Configurations" on page 58.
Note
When the option 'mix on one channel' is activated on a play channel (Channels
tab, page 7), the secondary link of the codec module (J3 on V3X board) of the
play channel is used to play transition effects.
