the event of a missed approach.

En Route

Operations

En route operations describe all operations prior to 30
nm from your destination airport. Your Apollo GX is
providing en route operation whenever the Approach
annunciator light is not on. The default CDI
sensitivity for en route is 5.0 nm; however, you may
manually select other CDI sensitivities. Generally,
you will select your destination airport prior to
departure or while en route, and you will usually
select and load an anticipated approach from the
database into your active flight plan while en route.

Note

An approach can only be selected for an
airport when it is the last waypoint in your
active flight plan.
