The printer automatically tests and changes the
PDF 417 bar code geometry to maximize the
readability of the bar code for a given maximum

The printer tests the PDF 417 parameters in this
order for a given data string (error correction
and compression included):
1. Module width

The printer will start with the maximum value
(default or explicit) for these parameters. The
printer reduces these values to get the module
width and height to maximize readability.
