Change the Default Administrator Password

Once the administrator is logged in, it is recommended (for greater security) that the the administrator change the default
administrator password.

To change the administrator password:

Press <

(Administration Menu) - <

> (User Configuration)

Select the user “

root

” to open the “Edit User” menu

Press <

> to open the “password” field.

Type in a new password (case sensitive, 16 characters maximum, alphanumerc)

Press <

Tab

> to open the “confirm” field

Re-type the new password to confirm

Press <

Enter

> to finish and save.

Note: If you press again, you will have to retype the confirmation.

Press <

Esc

> to exit the menu, or <

> to change it again.

Note: In the event the password is forgotten, contact NTI for instruction on how to reset the password to the default
"nti".

Note: User names and passwords are case sensitive.
