Tip
Though your home theatre consumes

very little power when on standby, energy
continues to be consumed. When not in use
for an extended period of time, disconnect the
power cable from the socket.
If your home theatre is connected to the TV

through HDMI, use EasyLink HDMI CEC to
control both products (see ‘Set up EasyLink’
on page 26 ) .
Choose your sound
This section helps you choose the ideal sound
for your video or music.
Change volume
To increase or decrease volume

+/- on the remote control.
Touch and rotate the volume control

wheel on the main unit.
To mute or unmute sound

sound.

Change treble or bass
Change the high frequency (treble) or low
frequency (bass) settings of the home theatre
to suit your video or music.

This section helps you use your home theatre
to play media from a wide range of sources,
including discs, USB storage devices, iPods, MP3
players and FM radio.
Before you start

Complete the À rst time setup. First

time setup appears when you turn on
the home theatre for the À rst time. If
you do not complete the setup, you are
prompted to complete it each time you
turn on the home theatre.
Switch the TV to the correct source for

this home theatre.
Switch on or to standby
To switch on
When the ( Power indicator ) is red, the
home theatre is on standby.
Press ( Standby-On ) on the main unit
or remote control to switch on the home
theatre.
To switch to standby
When the power indicator is white, the home
theatre is switched on.
Press ( Standby-On ) on the main unit or
remote control to switch the home theatre to
standby.
