If you cannot correct the problem by taking the above actions, please contact
your service representative.
The machine cannot detect
the original size. Place custom size original on the exposure glass.
Enter both horizontal and vertical sizes of the custom original. ⇒
P.45 “Copying onto custom size paper with the bypass tray”.
Select paper manually, not in Auto Paper Select mode.
Do not use Auto Reduce/Enlarge mode.
Place your originals.
The machine instructs you
to check the original direc-
tion. Place the original in the same direction as the copy paper.
The machine instructs you
to check paper size. Select the proper paper size.
The machine cannot sort
this size paper. Select the proper paper size that can be used in Sort mode. ⇒

The machine cannot stack
this size paper. Select the proper paper size that can be used in Stack mode. ⇒

You cannot enter the de-
sired copy set number. You can change the maximum copy quantity that you can make at
a time.
