operations:

Select
Del
to
delete
this
virtual
disk.

Select
Locate
and
the
LEDs
flash
on
the
physical
drives
used
by
this
virtual
disk.
v
Select
Fast
or
Slow
to
initialize
this
virtual
disk.
Attention:
Before
you
run
an
initialization,
back
up
any
data
on
the
virtual
disk
that
you
want
to
save.
All
data
on
the
virtual
disk
is
lost
when
you
initialize
it.
Using
the
EasyStartup
DVD
The
EasyStartup
DVD
simplifies
the
process
of
configuring
your
RAID
controller
and
installing
an
operating
system.
The
program
works
in
conjunction
with
your
Windows
or
Linux
operating-system
installation
disc
to
automate
the
process
of
installing
the
operating
system
and
associated
device
drivers.
If
you
did
not
receive
an
EasyStartup
DVD
with
your
server,
you
can
download
an
image
from
the

Before
you
use
the
EasyStartup
DVD
Functionality
and
supported
operating
systems
can
vary
with
different
versions
of
the
EasyStartup
program.
To
learn
more
about
the
version
you
have,
do
the
following:

Insert
the
EasyStartup
DVD
and
restart
the
server.
2.
Advance
to
the
Home
screen.
3.
Click
Compatibility
notes.
The
compatibility
notes
feature
provides
detailed
information
about
the
operating
systems
and
server
configurations
supported
by
that
version
of
the
EasyStartup
program.
4.
Click
User
Guide.
The
User
Guide
provides
an
overview
of
the
various
functions
provided
by
that
version
of
the
EasyStartup
program.
Before
using
the
EasyStartup
program
to
install
an
operating
system,
make
sure
any
external
storage
devices
and
fiber
channels
are
configured
correctly.
