For Windows ME

To disconnect the camera, double click on the unplug-or-eject-hardware
icon located on the task bar (Bottom Right Corner of Screen) The unplug-
or-eject-hardware window will
open.

DISCONNECTING THE CAMERA FROM THE COMPUTER

For Windows 98

Confirm that the green focus lamp is not lit or blinking and then disconnect the USB
cable.

Never disconnect the camera when the green focus lamp is lit or blinking - the
data or CompactFlash card may be permanently damaged.

CONNECTING TO A COMPUTER

The hardware devices to be stopped
will be displayed. Click “Stop.”

A confirmation screen will
appear. Clicking “OK” will stop
the device.

Click “OK.” The camera
can now be safely
disconnected from the
computer.
