SETUP MODE
The setup menu allows changes to the camera’s default settings to alter monitor
brightness, the auto-power-off period, the date and time, and the video-out signal. The
setup menu can be used to format a CompactFlash card and reset the camera to its
default settings. Any setting made on the setup menu will not be reset when the
camera is turned off.
Navigating the setup menu is quick and simple. In the recording or playback mode, set
the function dial to the setup position; in the recording mode, the LCD monitor will
automatically activate; in the playback mode, the monitor must be activated using the
display/enter button. Simply highlight the item you want to change and enter it. The
desired setting is then highlighted and entered.
Use the scroll buttons to highlight the function to be changed.
To select the highlighted function, press the display/enter button.
