Care of the telephone
•
Use either a d amp cloth or an antistatic cloth to
clean the telephone. Never use a dry cloth!
•
If the telephone needs to be cleaned thoroughly,
use a neutral, diluted, surface-active cleaning agent.
Ensure that all traces of the cleaning agent are re-
moved with a damp cloth (using water only!).
•
Never apply a cleaning agent that contains alcohol or
that is liable to harm plastic surfaces; never use an
abrasive cleaning powder.
Troubleshooting
There is no response after a key has been pressed:
Check whether the key has b ecome stuck.
No ringing tone when an incoming call is received:
Check whether you have activated the Do Not Disturb
function (
Æ page 21). If you have, cancel this function
to receive calls again.
You cannot dial a number:
Check whether you have locked the telephone
(
Æ page 46). If you have, unlock the telephone to make
calls again.
The time shown on the display is not correct:
After 24 hours at the latest, the time is corrected auto-
matically (overnight).
All other faults:
First contact System Support. If the fault cannot be
eliminated, Customer Service must be called in.
