Note:
1. Characters may be enlarged through the use of the Character

Expansion command.

2. Character spacing may be altered through the use of the Charac-

ter Pitch command. The default is 2 dots between characters. It
is recommended to use a spacing of 5 dots for OCR-A and 1 dot
for OCR-B.

3. You may also create custom characters or fonts. See the T

Custom-Designed Characters command.

4. A font must be defined for each field to be printed. There is no

default font.

5. Fonts U, S, M, OA and OB are identical to fonts U, S, M, OA and

OB on the SATO M-8400 printer.

6. The proportionally spaced fonts XU, XS, XM, XL and XA can be

printed with fixed spacing using the PS Proportional
Space command.

7. The matrices of the OA and OB fonts are scaled so that they will

remain a constant size according to the OCR-A and OCR-B spec-
ifications when printed on different resolution printers.
