If assigned titles (album title or track title) are long
and cannot be shown at a time

The unit keeps scrolling the title to show the entire title.

About HDD indicator

About HDD lamp
(when dimmer is not activated)

• Blue (flashes) : HDD is preparing for playback.

(During this period, no remote control
operations are accepted.)

• Blue (lights) : HDD is now ready for playback and

for recording, or it is now playing or
pausing.

• Red (flashes) : HDD is preparing for recording.
• Red (lights)

: HDD is now recording.

Basic HDD Operations

While playing a track recorded in the HDD, you can do the
following operations.

To stop playback for a moment

Press

HDD

3/8.

To resume play, press

HDD

3/8 again.

To locate a particular point in a track during play

Press and hold

¢ or 4 during play.

¢ : Fast-forwards the tracks.

4 : Fast-reverses the tracks.

To go to another track

Press

¢ or 4 repeatedly.

¢ : Skips to the beginning of the next or succeeding

tracks.

4 : Goes back to the beginning of the current or

previous tracks.

Before starting play, you can continuously skip or go back
to any track by holding the button.

To change the information shown in the main display

Each time you press

DISP/CHARA on the remote control,

the information in the main display changes as follows:

Before playing—

1 Current album number
2 Total track number in the current album
3 Current library number (or assigned name)
4 Album title* appears following “ALBUM TITLE”
5 Total playing time of the current album

* If no title is assigned, “NO TITLE” will appear.

While playing—

1 Current album number
2 Current track number
3 Current library number (or assigned name)
4 Elapsed playing time of the track
5 Album title* appears following “ALBUM TITLE”
6 Track title* appears following “TRACK TITLE”

* If no title is assigned, “NO TITLE” will appear.
