If the record is started by alarm / motion detection from the stop mode (the
sensor record mode), audio does not record even though it is set to on.
!
・Alarm recording are the time which the alarm terminal is a MAKE up, the Pre-
Recording Time before a MAKE up, and the Post-Recording Time after a MAKE up.
・The Pre-Recording Time changes with the quality setup or the content of the image.
With high quality setup, when a picture that is difficult to compress is inputted, the
time is fixed regardless of the setting.
Long
min = 2sec, max = 11sec
Middle
min = 2sec, max = 7sec
Short
min = 2sec, max = 4sec
When the Quality is set at Q3 and the picture is standard, Long = 7sec, Middle=5sec,
Short=3sec.
・When replaying the place where record was interrupted, it could be replayed a frozen
screen or a black screen. In such a case, please execute a Time search or a Event
List search after pressing a stop button.
(ex. Playback of the place pointed out by the arrow on a below figure.)

■ Motion Setup
Full : Recording (REC) is started when motion is detected on the full
screen.
Area : REC is started when motion is detected on the selected grid. ( )
(this grid can be selected by the user.)
・Set-up area as pressing the ENTER button at Area Define menu.
5.2.4 Alarm Recording
・Set-up recording time which is before event and after event when its’ Alarm/Motion
Events.
・The RECORD Indication LED and ONSCREEN display might be displayed for several
seconds longer than actual record time.
