3.3.3 Connection of External Remote Controllers
VR-609
Remote Controller
・Operation of VR-609 is possible via an external remote controller.
・Configuration of camera settings as well as operation of camera are
possible via an external remote controller.
! Operation of camera from the VR-609 unit will be disabled when an external
remote controller is connected.
・Connect the RS-485 signal wire from the junction box to the "REMOTE" terminal.
・Connection of up to 9 cameras is possible. Specify camera ID setting between 1
- 9.
・Connect the video signal wire of each camera to the VIDEO IN terminal that is of
the same number as the specified camera ID (1 - 9).
・Configure ID for VR-609. (See 5.7.7.8 Remote Control Setup)
・Turn OFF the power of all equipment before performing configuration.
・When connecting devices other than VR-609, ensure to do so upon reading
through the instruction manual of the device in question.
・VR-609 allows connection of external remote controllers.
