7 Permanent settings in programming mode
Precondition: READY appears on the display.
M l Keep the Rotary Switch pressed until RINSE appears.
Ä L Turn the Rotary Switch until UNIT ON appears.
M l Press the Rotary Switch to enter the programme item.

Ä L Turn the Rotary Switch to set the hour.
M l Press the Rotary Switch to confirm the hour setting.
Ä L Turn the Rotary Switch to set the minutes.
M l Press the Rotary Switch to confirm the minute setting.
OK appears briefly on the display.
UNIT ON
Ä L Turn the Rotary Switch until EXIT appears.
M l Press the Rotary Switch to exit the programming mode.
READY
You can save energy with the programmable switch-off function of
your IMPRESSA.
The basic setting for the programmable automatic switch-off
time is 5 hours. This means that the device switches off auto-
matically 5 hours after it is used last.
The programmable automatic switch-off time can be adjust-
ed between 0.5 and 15 hours or deactivated.
Example: To change the programmable automatic switch-off time
from 5 hours to 10, proceed as follows:

M l Press the Rotary Switch to enter the programme item.
5 H appears on the display.
Ä L Turn the Rotary Switch until 10 H is displayed.
M l Press the Rotary Switch to confirm the setting.
Once the setting is programmed, OK appears briefly on the
display.
