On confirmation the PTP 400 Series bridge will:

Upload the configuration file
o
Perform data integrity checking
o
Erase previous configuration
o
Apply the new configuration
o
Restart
After the unit has restarted the entire configuration from the configuration file will now be
active. Note: The IP address of the unit may have also been changed. The user can check
the new IP address by reading the header of the configuration file, Figure 36.
WARNING: A reboot is always required to restore a configuration file.
