basic Controls

Use

figure 13 and the following descriptions to

become familiar with the basic controls of your
planer.

A. Power Light: illuminates when machine is

energized and ready to operate.

b. Stop button: interrupts power and turns the

motor

OFF. twist the button until it pops out

to re-energize the machine.

C. Start button: turns the motor ON.

D. Return Rollers: provide a convenient meth-

od for returning workpieces to the infeed side
of the planer.

E. Table Height Handwheel: Controls the ele-

vation of the table under the cutterhead.

f. feed Rate Control Knob: switches the feed

rollers between high and low feed rates or, in
the center position, stops the feed rollers.

G. Table Locks: locks the table in position so

it does not move during operations.
