Setting the Instrument Date and Time when the POCT-1A Communication Protocol is Used:
1.
Start HEMOCHRON Configuration Manager (see page 49).
2.
Read the configuration from the instrument that is connected over the network (see page 52).
Note: When the POCT-1A communication protocol is used, HEMOCHRON Configuration
Manager cannot communicate with the instrument over the COM port.

Click the Clone Instrument button on the Configuration Module dialog box (page 53) to display the
Clear Instrument Counts dialog box:

Select Synchronize Instrument Date + Time with PC (POCT-1A). Do not select the other two
options.
5.
Select OK. The Write Configuration dialog box is displayed (page 67).
6.
Click Start. Progress information is displayed in the status line.
7.
A message box is displayed when writing of the configuration data is complete. Click OK to
acknowledge the message.
Purging Configuration Data
An existing configuration file can be removed from the Configuration Manager database. A record of the file
removal is maintained in the audit trail.
1.
Select Purge Configuration Data from the Utilities menu. The Purge Configuration Data dialog
box is displayed:

Use the drop-down arrow to select the configuration file that is to be purged. The information for the
configuration file is displayed.
Note: The information is read-only and cannot be changed by the user.
3.
Click OK. The selected configuration file is purged from the database.
Rebuilding the Database
1.
Select Rebuild Database from the Utilities menu. The Rebuild Database dialog box is displayed:
