Staging a
Wave
(Batched
Orders) To stage by wave, you must be using WMS RF Professional. The Wave
function selects a wave number that contains at least one picking order
assigned to the logged-in operator. Once the wave has been selected the
operator can either pick or stage the wave. Usually, a wave consists of one
or more grouped orders. For more information about establishing a wave,
please refer to the WMS Workstation User Manual.
To stage a wave, please refer to the instructions that follow.
1. From the Main menu, select <F2> to reach the Picking menu.
2. The Picking menu appears.
3. From the Picking menu, select <F5>. The following screen appears.
From the screen, you will select a wave (batched orders) for staging.
The <F2> key advances you through the waves in the system for the
selected site.
The <F1> key returns you to the previous wave.
The <F3> key clears a wave that is currently selected in the picking
menu.
When you reach the wave that you want, press the <Enter> key.
