Chapter 6: System Operation

¾

Data Number 15 - Interference Check Load (Part Check Load High)

¾

Data Number 23 - Interference Check Distance (Part Check Distance)

ƒ

These two settings may be used together to detect foreign substances (early load).

If the press senses [15: Interference Check Load / Part Check Load High] before
exceeding [23: Interference Check Distance / Part Check Distance], a “1

ST

Zone”

reject will occur and press operation will stop.

*This is also the measurement start distance for Rate 1.

A setting is possible from 0 to 105% of full-scale value.

¾

Data Number 16 Distance Measurement Start Load

ƒ

The starting point of calculation of [22: Target Distance]. If set to 0, distance is

calculated from start.

A setting is possible from 0 to 105% full-scale value.
For example, if [16: Distance Measurement Start Load] is set to 1KN and [22: Target
Distance]
is 10mm:

The distance data that is effected by [16: Distance Measurement Start Load] is
[22: Target Distance] and [24: Press Speed Start Distance]. All other distance
data uses the [62: Job Start Position] value.

¾

Data Number 17 - Part Check Load Low

ƒ

When using Part Check, this is the value that the load seen by the press must be greater

than or equal to when the press reaches Part Check Distance. If it is below this value a
1

ST

Zone reject will occur. (See “Part Check” on Page 6-35)

*When not using Part Check, this is the measurement start load for Rate 1.
