button, and then use the Plus (+) and Minus (–) buttons to change the Reduce/
Enlarge percentage.
The default setting is indicated by a black dot ( ● ).

establish that setting as the default. For example, you can change Reduce/Enlarge to Auto
Fit. For details, refer to the “Setting Defaults” section later in this chapter.
Make Copies Lighter or Darker Make Copies Lighter or Darker Make Copies Lighter or Darker Make Copies Lighter or Darker Make Copies Lighter or Darker
To adjust the lightness and darkness of copies, follow these steps:
1 11 11 Press the Lighter/Darker button. The range of lightness/darkness values
appears on a scale on the display.
2 22 22 To make the copy darker, press the Plus (+) button. (The dot moves to the
right.) To make the copy lighter, press the Minus (–) button. (The dot
moves to the left.)
3 33 33 To confirm your selection, press the Select/Resume button.
