Cartridges and Different Paper Types,” for help in installing print cartridges
in the proper color sequence.
CAUTION CAUTION CAUTION CAUTION CAUTION Hold the cartridge by the black areas only. The color of the ink in the print
cartridge must match the color of the dot above the cartridge stall.
1 11 11 If you haven’t already done so, remove the shipping tape from the print
cartridge carriage.
2 22 22 Remove the print cartridge from the carton.
3 33 33 Remove the green tab and the blue tape by pulling the green tab and
peeling it and the tape off as shown in the following illustration:
Remove and discard green
tab and blue tape.
The colored area around the
edge of the label shows you the
color of ink in the cartridge.
