Maximum Video Rate:
This control defines the maximum allowed video
elementary stream bit rate. This control is not available for MPEG-2.
Average Video Rate:
This control defines the desired average elementary
stream bit rate.
Minimum Video Rate:
This control defines the desired minimum elementary
stream bit rate. This control is not available for MPEG-2.
Filler Video Bit Rate:
If you require that the elementary stream video bit rate
do not fall below a certain value, set it in this control.
Basic Tab–Audio Parameters
Audio Channels:
Enter the desired number of audio channels. Note that an “Audio
Channel” is equivalent to an “Audio PID” and can be mono, stereo, or surround (for
supported audio encoding standards). Also note that, in RTMP output mode, this control
is fixed to 1 as RTMP has no support for more than one audio channel.
Encoder Advanced Configuration Tab
The Advanced Configuration Tab is divided into three major areas:
Video Parameters:
These are advanced controls related to the encoding of the video.
Which controls are displayed here depend on the video encoding standard.
VBI/Ancillary Data Insertion:
These parameters control ancillary data insertion.
Ancillary data can be extracted from the video signal and mapped into the encoder output
bitstream.
Mux Parameters:
These parameters control the PID assignments and contents of
selected DVB tables.
Advanced Tab–Common Video Parameters
The Video Parameters displayed below are common to all encoding standards. Note that they
will not necessarily be grouped this way in the Video Parameters area, but they will be present
for all standards.
