Troubleshooting
If you experience trouble with your linear PCM recorder, try the following solutions.
1 Turn off the linear PCM recorder completely by removing the batteries and then
turn it on again. Or use the linear PCM recorder to initialize the built-in memory
or the memory card. (Note that initializing will delete all data in the memory or in
the memory card.)
2 Read through the symptoms and solutions on page 76 to 83 to check your
recorder.
3 Should any problem persist after you have made these checks, consult your
nearest Sony dealer.
