4.2.2 IP Configuration
The IP Configuration includes the IP Address, Subnet Mask, Gateway and DNS server. Through the Web Switch Utility,
you can easily recognize the device by using the System Name. Fill up the IP Address, Subnet Mask and Gateway for the
device. The screen in Figure 4-3 appears.

The page includes the following configurable data:
Object Description
DHCP Mode Choose what the switch should do following power-up: transmit a DHCP request,
or manual setting (Disable). The factory default is Disable.
IP Address The IP address of the interface. The factory default value is 192.168.0.100
Subnet Mask The IP subnet mask for the interface. The factory default value is 255.255.255.0
Gateway The default gateway for the IP interface. The factory default value is
192.168.0.254.
Primary DNS Enter the IP Address of the Primary DNS Server. The Domain Name System
(DNS) converts user-defined domain names into IP addresses.
Secondary DNS Enter the IP Address of the Secondary DNS Server.
