3.1.7 MegaRAID SAS 8480E RAID Controller
The MegaRAID SAS 8480E PCI Express Disk Array RAID Controller has
one Intel IOP333 I/O processor, which controls eight internal SAS ports
or SATA ports through two SAS 4x internal connectors.
This subsection provides the board layout, and connector and jumper
information for the SAS 8480E RAID controller.
Figure 3.7 shows the
connectors and the jumpers on the controller, and Table 3.7 describes
them.
