Your printer icon doesn’t appear
in the Chooser . . .
■ Your Macintosh has extension
conflicts. Disable Quick Draw
GX in the Extensions Manager.
Make sure EPSON Monitor3
and SC 740 are enabled, and then
restart your Macintosh.
■ You may have too many items in
the Chooser. Delete or move any
unused items and check the
Chooser again.
You need help with the creative
software on your CD-ROM . . .
■ For installation instructions, see
the Start Here card.
■ For assistance using the
programs you installed from
the CD-ROM, contact the
company that produced the
software. For contact
information, see page 40.
Your printer makes noise when
you turn it on or after it has been
sitting for a while . . .
Your printer is performing routine
maintenance. Wait until it stops
making noise before printing.
If you need to uninstall the printer
software . . .
If you need to uninstall and then
reinstall your printer software, follow
these steps:
1. Insert the printer software
CD-ROM in your drive.
2. Double-click the EPSON icon.
After a moment, you see the
EPSON Stylus COLOR 740i
Installer Main Menu.
3. Click Re-install Printer Driver ,
then click the same button on the
next screen.
4. If the driver installation title
screen appears, click Continue .
5. On the Printer Driver Installer
screen, click the arrow in the list
at the top showing Easy Install,
and select
Remove from the list.
6. Click the Remove button on the
bottom of the screen.
7. Follow the instructions on the
screen to uninstall the printer
software. Then restart your
Macintosh.
8. To reinstall your software, see the
Start Here card.
