the battery (+) terminal and
the M or K terminal of the
starter and check if motor

Charge or replace the battery.
Repair connection or
corrosion of battery terminals.
Key switch

Check/repair wiring to the
starter magnetic switch.
Repair or replace starter
magnetic switch.
Check engagement of
pinion and ring gear
Check pinion roller clutch
for damage or replace.
Check settling of spring and
sliding of pinion.
Replace if pinion/ring gear
end face is worn.
Correction of pinion gap
Replace motor
(brush holder or armature).
