(18) FLYWHEEL AND STARTING PULLEY
NOTE1: Wear work gloves during operation to
avoid a possible injury by a sharp edge.
NOTE2: When mounting the fl ywheel, be sure to
wipe off any oil on the tapered portion of
the crankshaft and fl ywheel.
Mount the fl ywheel on the crankshaft.
(Tighten the fl ywheel together with the starting
pulley.)

Align the 2 bosses of starting pulley with the depression of fl ywheel.
(19) IGNITION COIL
When mounting the ignition coil, insert a thickness
gauge between the ignition coil and the fl ywheel to
check the air gap.
Air gap 0.3 mm - 0.5 mm
Tightening torque
7.0 - 9.0 N
