Cleaning to be dealt with by
specialized technicia

Still with the stove cold, open the door below the grate
(Fig. 31) and with a vacuum cleaner remove the ash and
soot accumulated in the heat exchanger. Remove the
cleaning plugs from the smoke discharge pipe and clean it
thoroughly.

Remove the two central side panels in ceramic, RH and
LH, open the two corresponding caps and also the door
below the grate, and with a small brush and a vacuum
cleaner, clean all the accumulated ash and soot. Fig.32
These simple but useful operations ensure increased
longevity for the appliance and also help to increase the
efficiency of combustion while also drastically reducing
pollution.

These maintenance operations must be carried out by
a specialised technician.

Clean the smoke discharge system, especially in the area
of the tee connectors and of any horizontal stretches of
pipe.
For information refer to a chimney sweep. Fig.33-34

ATTENTION: for your safety, the frequency of
cleaning the smoke discharge system must be
determined on the basis of the use to which
the stove is put.

Check the seal of the gaskets in ceramic fibre which are
fitted to the door of the stove and on the BURNER ASH
COLLECTING DRAWER.
If necessary order new gaskets from your dealer as
replacements.

At the end of the season it is necessary to clean the
compartment under the grate and the heat exchanger
inside it.
This general cleaning should be carried out at the end of
the season in order to facilitate the general removal of all
residues of combustion, without waiting too long, because
with time and humidity these residues can become
compacted.
