Follow the steps below to install a disk drive in an external bay.
1. Locate the following parts included with your computer for
each drive you will install:
two metal drive brackets
four retaining screws (with attached flat washers)
two nuts (with attached star washers)
small wrench.
2. Attach one bracket to each side of the drive, as shown below.
Loosely secure each bracket with two retaining screws.
