Note: The inverter hood does not
mount to the inverter chassis, it
must be mounted to a backplate or
wall. Mounting bolts for the hood are
included with the backplate, otherwise
the installer must supply the bolts. The
mounting slots on the hood will accept
up to a maximum 1/4” screw/bolt.
The bottom edge of the hood must be
mounted fl ush against the top of the
inverter. This is the optimal position for
minimizing the risk of objects falling
into the inverter, and at the same time
providing the airfl ow clearance needed
from the inverter’s top vents.
Note: Prior to mounting
the inverter, connect and
separate the AC input and
output wires within the
inverter, and then route
the wiring through the MP
enclosure. Ensure the AC
access plate is reattached
to the inverter.
